Man dies in Timaru quad bike crash

A man is dead after a Timaru quad bike crash last night.

Police said emergency services were called to the intersection of Prattley and Macaulay Road in Milford shortly before midnight.

"A quad bike had left the road and sadly the male rider died at the scene," police said in a statement this afternoon.

The Serious Crash Unit have carried out a scene examination and the crash remains under investigation.
