Brian Tamaki and members of Destiny Church gathered on Parliament's front lawn to show their support for Israel amid the ongoing conflict in the region.
Tamaki has asked Foreign Minister Winston Peters not to call for a ceasefire, and thanked the ACT Party which received his petition to MPs calling for the Hamas and Hezbollah organisations to be declared as terrorist organisations, RNZ reports.
Several hundred people could be seen waving the flag of Israel, and a haka was performed just before 2pm.
Speaking on stage, Pastor Nigel Woodley said: "It takes some strength for a government to do what is right, and I'm sure they know what is right."

When asked why they were at the rally, another Israel supporter said "we just stand for the truth, not the lies".
A pro-Palestine counter-protest also began at 12pm outside the Supreme Court, planned by the Pōneke Anti-Fascist Coalition.
In a social media post, the coalition said the 'Hope Not Hate' counter-protest is to "oppose the pro-genocide 'NZ stands with Israel' rally organised by professional grifter Brian Tamaki".

Supporters of Palestine can be seen waving flags, and holding signs reading "Ceasefire now".
One woman holding a sign said: "I'm here in support of Palestine, as the route to peace is through justice and we need a justice solution."
Over 16,000 people have died amid Israel's bombardment according to the Gaza Health Ministry, following Hamas' deadly attacks on October 7 that saw 1200 killed in Israel.
