As they move into opposition, the Green Party has announced its portfolio spokespeople.
The party has promised to “stand up for an Aotearoa where everyone has enough to pay the rent and put food on the table, where our native wildlife and our oceans are protected for future generations, and where we face the climate crisis with the urgency it demands”.
"We are going to do everything in our power to make this a one-term government," co-leader Marama Davidson said.
Speaking about the party's new caucus of 15 MPs, co-leader James Shaw said: “This is an experienced Green Party Caucus that reflects our priorities for Aotearoa and will provide a strong voice for our people and our planet.”
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon last week unveiled the ministerial positions for the National-ACT-NZ First.
