It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Tāmaki Makaurau.
More than 100,000 people were expected at the annual Auckland Santa Parade today, lining the streets to witness some Christmas magic and perhaps a glimpse of the man himself.
It was a special milestone for the parade, marking its 90th anniversary.
Event organiser Pam Glaser said that the event brings communities together and spans generations.
"They were taken as a little child, now they're bringing their children or grandchildren, and its priceless."
