Police are appealing for the public's help in finding a 63-year-old man missing from his Christchurch home since early August.
Stewart Willis was last believed to be at his home on Colombo St in early August and has been missing since then.
His last location has, however, been identified as being near Mt Prospect on Kakapo Rd, Te Anau, on October 26.
Police said officers had conducted a number of inquiries in Christchurch but had been unable to locate Willis.
"Stewart is a very quiet man and lives a very solitary life, but Police and his family have concerns for his welfare and want to know he is safe," a spokesperson said.
"Police do not know where Stewart is, but we believe he could still be in the area near Te Anau."
Anyone who has seen Willis or who has any information which may help in finding him is asked to contact police on 105.
