A 26-year-old man has appeared in the Auckland District Court on murder charges over the killings of Fuk Fu Kwok and Mei Han Chong.
The man, who was granted interim name suppression, is also charged with unlawfully taking a vehicle belonging to Mr Kwok.
He stood with his head bowed throughout his brief appearance, dressed in a white boiler suit.

He entered no plea and was remanded in custody to appear again in the Auckland High Court on November 29th.
Earlier, police said they arrested the man overnight in the North Shore suburb of Glenfield.
Police said they were no longer looking for anyone else over the incident.
They said inquiries were continuing, adding a post-mortem examination of Chong's body was due to have taken place this morning.
A 42-year-old man is also facing two murder charges and appeared in court yesterday.
