The man accused of murdering a Christchurch real estate agent and mother Yanfei Bao, who went missing four months ago, has been back in court this morning.
Tingjun Cao, who earlier pleaded not guilty, appeared briefly at the High Court in Christchurch via audio visual link.
The hearing was to discuss pre-trial matters.
Bao, 44, was last seen alive in July, with the missing persons investigation soon upgraded to a homicide.

Despite extensive police searches spanning across the wider Christchurch area, her body has yet to be found.
The case will be back in court again next month.
