A shopper at a Florida op shop got a "not-so-humerus" surprise over the weekend when he noticed a human skull for sale.
The customer, an anthropologist, recognised the skull as being that of a human.
Detectives were called to the store in North Fort Myers on Saturday (Sunday NZST) and recovered the skull.
"The store owner said the skull was located in a storage unit that was purchased in years prior," the Lee County Sheriff's Office said in a statement on social media.
"The Lee County Sheriff’s Office will work in conjunction with the District 21 Medical Examiner’s Office to facilitate further testing of the skull."
