Four people have been injured after a car smashed through a wall at a Sydney café yesterday, sending customers flying.
CCTV footage captured the moment a red Honda Accord crashed into the outdoor area of Bankstown's Coffee Emporium, on North Terrace, around 11.30am yesterday, Nine reports.
The driver, a 45-year-old woman who had received her licence three months earlier, said she didn't understand what had happened.
"I'm sorry because of what happened. I'm sorry," she said.
Café owner Assam Elomar said he ran outside after hearing the commotion "and all I could see is people flying".
"I thought one of the kids was trapped underneath the car, so that was my concern.
"The only good thing out of this is nobody... no one died over it."
