The snakes were allegedly released in Coogee by a woman’s disgruntled ex-partner allegedly during a “tantrum”.

The woman, who posted about her 2.5m long snakes, said they were "quite sweet and don't bite".

However, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) urged locals not to handle the animals if found.

The woman has offered a reward for the return of her pythons which are named Bagel and Mango.

The snakes are native to Australia but are not native to the Sydney region.
