The long-awaited season finale of Celebrity Treasure Island is here.

Follow 1News for the dramatic twists and turns as one castaway was crowned the winner of Celebrity Treasure Island 2023.

Turia Schmidt-Peke, James Mustapic, and Courtney Dawson are all vying for the cash prize of $100,000.

Schmidt-Peke, a Māori-Samoan actress, is best known for her role as Steph on Shortland Street.

Mustapic is a much-loved Kiwi comedian who was an avid fan of the show being being cast on it himself this year.

Courtney Dawson is also a much loved Kiwi comedian, and has been known for her collection funky hats throughout the season.
