Nearly 40,000 fans have swarmed Auckland Showgrounds for the first Labour Weekend Armageddon Expo in years.
It is a welcome return for the convention which plays host to an epic hub of gaming, cosplay, anime and celebrity guests. From young fans to the young at heart, revellers relished in the chance to re-enact their favourite roles.
Trekkies were treated to appearances from Kate Mulgrew as well as Todd Stashwick, Robert Picardo, Melissa Navia and Jess Bush.
Founder Bill Geradts said its the biggest Star Trek line-up the convention has ever seen.
"Every year we try to do different things and the benefit of having physical actors is people want to meet them," he said.
But that wasn't all that was on offer, with appearances from other major franchises such as Star Wars and The Last of Us delighting fans.
The popular event which celebrates all things pop culture, gaming, cosplay and comics kicked off on Saturday morning and is due to finish tonight.
