One person is in hospital with serious injuries after a brawl on a Hamilton street this morning.
Police were called to reports of a group fighting on Mahoe Street around 9.30am.
"During the incident, one person received serious injuries," said police.
Police at the scene provided first aid until an ambulance crew arrived.
"The victim is now receiving treatment in hospital and inquiries are ongoing."

Earlier, a social media user reported there were "police everywhere" after a "stabbing" near a Gull station, which police did not confirm.
