Corn fritter enthusiasts might be wondering where Wattie's cream style corn has gone.
The Kiwi favourite is currently listed as unavailable on the Countdown and New World websites, but customers may still be able to snap up a can at Pak'nSave.
Wattie's has confirmed that the product is currently off supermarket shelves due to supply issues.
"Cyclone Gabrielle affected the corn harvest in New Zealand," a spokesperson told 1News.
According to the Wattie's website, the product is made using corn from Hawke's Bay, which was hit particularly hard by Gabrielle.
However, the spokesperson says the pantry staple will eventually return.
"The good news is that we anticipate it being back on shelf by March 2024."
