Man missing in Marlborough wilderness, police appeal for help

Police are appealing for help from the public after a man went missing in Marlborough's Mount Richmond Forest Park.

Andrew Sloan, 33, is Caucasian and about 180cm tall, police said.

"Andrew was in the Mount Richmond Forest Park, at locations such as Rocks Hut, Middy Creek, Captain Creek and possibly Browning Hut over the weekend," a police spokesperson said.

"Police believe he may be walking towards the Picton area."

Sloan was wearing black Asics running shoes and dark clothing.

Anyone who has any information of who may have seen him is urged to call 105.
