From Berlin's dive bars to London's west end and now heading to New Zealand - Australian singing sensation and comedian, Meow Meow, promises a night of "orchestrated chaos".
Sitting against the iconic backdrop of the Sydney Opera House, "Meow Meow," promised a spectacle like no other for her upcoming show at the 2024 Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts.
The interview started as unpredictably as predicted, with the artist living up to her show's name, Pandemonium.
“I’m Meow Meow, known as a singer and comedian, and apparently a force of nature – I hope a force for good,” she started.
"I’m a stage creature on and off stage."

Her anticipated performance in New Zealand comes after a two-year hiatus for the festival.
Come February 24, 2024, she said the show would be grander than ever and has teamed up with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra for a one-night spectacular.
“It’s wild and there is chaos within it. That’s exciting for an orchestra, they’re really actively involved in the whole show,” she said.
While Meow Meow's glamorous ball dress might have suggested a conventional performance, audiences are told to be prepared for the unpredictable.
“I don’t feel I’ve done a show unless I’m bruised afterwards emotionally and physically obviously.”
The artist even hinted at the possibility of stage diving, calling it the "greatest act of trust and stupidity".
"It’s stupid, it’s highbrow, it’s lowbrow, it’s got all of it and supreme musicianship, it’s funny and it’s beautiful," she said.
“I want to say you’re safe with me… but it’s also a little bit dangerous and that is the excitement of live theatre.”
