A man living in Gaza has described the terror of being trapped in the enclave, as retaliatory strikes by Israel increase in intensity.
"Every 15 minutes we have a bomb," Mohammed Abedullah told 1News.
"They bombed the house of a neighbour nearby us, so it's not a good situation to be honest."
He and his family are sheltering in their apartment, but they have no basement to hide in when the warning sirens go off ahead of a strike.
"For the last two days we haven't had any moment of sleep," Abedullah says.
"Especially the children, they are getting scared every second.
"We are trying to make it a game, telling them don't worry there is nothing out there, but they know something is going on, they keep crying and shouting.
"That is the most difficult thing, how to explain to them what is going on."
As the death toll mounts, Abedullah says calls by the Israeli government for people in Gaza to evacuate their homes is not possible.
"How could we leave? One of the biggest problems is we have been under blockade for so many years now," Abdullah says.
"It means you cannot move, you cannot travel."
Sheltering in basements or bunkers is also not possible for Abedullah and his family, as there are none.
"We do not have anywhere to go to," he says.
"If you have five minutes to evacuate your house before a strike you have got to go, but you don't know where."
