'Serious injuries' after crash involving pedestrian in Levin

One person has been injured after a "serious crash" involving a pedestrian in central Levin.

The incident occurred this evening on Bath St, police saying initial indications show "serious injures".

The road is currently closed while emergency services respond.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
