Missing Auckland girl, 12, found 'safe and well'

A 12-year-old girl who went missing in Auckland has been found "safe and well".

Police made the announcement in a statement this morning.

She had been reported missing from Bucklands Beach.

"Police would like to thank the public for their assistance," a spokesperson said.
