Armed burglary in Auckland's Papatoetoe overnight

Police are investigating after an armed robbery in Auckland's Papatoetoe overnight.

Police said they were called to the scene about 3.21am after a group of people broke into a house.

The offenders fled with stolen property. They were allegedly armed with a knife, baseball bat, and a possible firearm.

Police are speaking to the person who lives at the house.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
