Person dies after crash involving vehicle, pedestrian on North Shore

A person has died after a crash involving a pedestrian and vehicle on Auckland's North Shore today.

Emergency services responded to the incident on Corinthian Drive in Albany around 9.45am.

"One person was transported to hospital in a critical condition however has since sadly died," police said in a statement.

"Police extend their condolences to their family and friends at this difficult time."

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
