Man injured in Dunedin shooting, police investigating

Police are investigating after a man was shot in Dunedin overnight.

The incident on Moray Place, which saw the man suffer a gunshot injury, was reported to police at 3.10am.

Police said the man was transported to hospital, where he is in a serious but stable condition.

"Inquiries are underway to establish the circumstances leading to the man's injury," a police spokesperson said.
