Motorcyclist dies in Bay of Plenty crash

A motorcyclist has died following a crash involving another vehicle in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, this afternoon.

Police said in a statement the accident happened at about 4:30pm on Boucher Ave. The motorcyclist passed away at the scene.

The Serious Crash Unit has been advised and the road remains closed, with motorists being diverted at Hookey Drive and Cameron Road.
