One dead after crash between truck and cars in Foxton

A person has died following a serious crash on State Highway 1 in Foxton this afternoon.

Police were called to the scene where a truck and two other vehicles collided around 12.15pm.

One person died at the scene while another received minor injuries.

Diversions remain in place as police ask motorists to avoid the area.
