Police searching for two missing hunters on East Coast

Police are searching for two hunters who went missing on the East Coast earlier today.

At 11.10am police were told that two people were overdue from a hunting trip in Raukumara Forest Park

A search and rescue team, as well as the Eagle helicopter, searched the area today but couldn't find the hunters.

The search has been called off overnight and will continue tomorrow morning.
