A man has been arrested following three alleged abduction attempts in the Waikato region.
The attempted abductions were in Paeroa and Huntly over the past three days and in Hamilton last month, Detective Sergeant Simon Evans said this evening in a statement.
A 31-year-old man is due to appear in the Hamilton District Court tomorrow on kidnapping charges.
Further charges are still being considered, Evans said.
"We continue to provide the victims with ongoing support."
