One hospitalised after motorbike and car crash in Wellington

One person has been hospitalised in a serious condition following a "serious crash" in Wellington.

The crash, involving a car and motorbike, occurred at around 6.50pm heading southbound on the Wellington motorway just before the Murphy Street off-ramp.

One person was seriously injured and has been taken to hospital.

The road and off-ramp have been closed while the serious crash unit attends.
