Person dies in Ōpōtiki workplace accident

A person has died in a workplace accident in Ōpōtiki this morning.

Emergency services raced to the scene on Tutaetoko Rd, Toatoa, about 10.30am.

Police said the person died at the scene.

Worksafe has been advised.
