Two men charged after Auckland military and outdoor store robbed

Two men have been arrested and charged by police after they raided a store selling military and hunting gear on Karangahape Road in Auckland this afternoon.

Police say a single offender visited the store around 4pm today and assaulted a staff member, fleeing before officers arrived.

No weapons were involved and only clothing was stolen an earlier statement said.

In a later statement shortly before 10pm, police said they have arrested two people following the aggravated robbery that took place at the store.

"One 28-year-old man involved in the incident has been arrested and charged with assault with intent to injure and aggravated robbery.

"A 42-year-old man has also been arrested on a charge of receiving the stolen property," the statement said.

Both are due to appear in Auckland District Court tomorrow.

Police said a third man involved in the robbery has not been located and police inquiries are continuing to find him.

In CCTV footage he is pictured wearing a white hat, black hoodie and dark pants.
