Two stabbed in Nelson, police seek witnesses

Police are seeking witnesses after two men were stabbed in Nelson last night.

The assault happened on Halifax St at 9pm, police said.

The two men, aged 20 and 51, were hospitalised and are in a stable condition.

Anyone who saw the incident or has any information which may help is urged to contact police.
