Man seriously stabbed following 'altercation' in Dunedin

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Dunedin last night.

The man was taken to hospital with serious stab wounds following an "altercation", police said.

The incident took place at around 11pm on Bath Street in central Dunedin.

Police have urged anyone with information to call 105.
