Man charged with murder following Hamilton death

A man has been charged with murder following a death at a property in Hamilton, on Saturday.

Police said they were called to the scene on Roy St in Nawton at around 11am.

The person was treated at the scene but later died.

Police said a 48-year-old has been charged with murder and is due to appear in the Hamilton District Court on Monday 19 September.
