A man has been arrested on Friday afternoon after walking around Auckland's Sky City with a knife.

Police received calls about the man around 2.10pm.

"Police attended and located one male with a knife. He was taken into custody without incident," police said in a statement.

No one was injured and inquiries are ongoing.
