Two dead following Tauranga motorbike crash

Two people are dead and two others received minor injuries after a crash on SH 2 near Bethlehem.

Police said the crash, which happened at 8:30pm, involved a motorcycle and two pedestrians who died at the scene.

The road is closed while the police Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.
