Person dead after late night crash in Porirua

One person is dead after a crash in Porirua late on Monday night.

A vehicle overturned near the railway lines on State Highway 59 at Papakōwhai. Police were notified at 11.15pm.

The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
