One dead after Hawke's Bay crash

One person is dead and another is in hospital with serious injuries after a two-car crash in Pakowhai, Hawke's Bay.

Police say the crash happened at 6.10pm on Tuesday just south of Brooksfield Road.

The Serious Crash Unit has been advised and the road remains closed.
