One person dead after Canterbury crash

One person has died after a crash in Canterbury on Friday night.

Police said the single-vehicle crash happened at around 10.30pm on Ikawai Middle Rd in Glenavy.

The driver - the only person inside the vehicle - died at the scene.

The serious crash unit attended.

Police said the circumstances of the crash will be investigated.
