Stabbing in Christchurch, police searching for attackers

Police are searching for two people after a person was stabbed in Christchurch overnight.

The stabbing happened at 10.30pm on Sunday on the corner of Bealey Ave and Madras St.

Police said the person was assessed by an ambulance at the scene and wasn't seriously injured.

The victim also had their phone stolen by the alleged offenders.
