Person dies in Taranaki quad-bike crash

Police have confirmed on Sunday that a person died in a quad-bike crash on a private property in Waverley, South Taranaki, on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the property just before 9am that morning.

Upon arrival, police said that the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death has been referred to the Coroner.
