Person dies after workplace incident in Bay of Plenty

A person has died after a workplace incident in Ōmokoroa, Bay of Plenty.

Police received reports of an injured person at a Te Kaka Place Road workplace around 1.15pm on Wednesday.

Emergency services attended but the peron died at the scene.

An investigation is underway and WorkSafe has been notified.
