Man dies after motorcycle crash in Southland

A man is dead after he fell off his motorcycle in Southland on Sunday night.

Police said they were called to a crash on Avondale Road at about 9.40pm in Castle Downs, southwest of Lumsden.

The man had come off a motorbike, and his injuries were not survivable, police said.

Police are investigating the crash.
