Person dies following Lake Rotomā crash

A person has died following a crash on SH30 near Lake Rotomā in the Bay of Plenty on Friday.

The crash happened just past Oxford Road around 11.30am when a car left the road and went down a bank.

One person died at the scene.

An investigation into the cause the crash is ongoing.
