Driver dies after crash at Pukerua Bay north of Wellington

A man has died after a single car crash in Pukerua Bay on Monday morning.

Emergency services were alerted just before 11am but police say the man died at the scene.

The serious crash unit were also in attendance, with major traffic delays on SH59 while investigations were underway.

Roads are now open, and traffic is flowing freely in both directions.
