One dead after ‘incident’ in Bay of Plenty

A person has died in what police are describing as an “incident” at Anzac Bay, Bowentown, in the Bay of Plenty.

The incident was reported to police shortly before 9pm on Saturday.

Police said another person was treated for minor to moderate injuries.

"Police are making enquiries in relation to the death on behalf of the coroner, who will release their finding in due course."
