Person dead after crash in Manawatū

One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Manawatū on Wednesday night.

Police said a car went into a bank between Gillespies Line and Rongotea Road on Kairanga Bunnythorpe Road shortly before 5.10pm.

The road has now re-opened.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
