Person injured following stabbing in Auckland overnight

January 22, 2022

One person has been injured following a stabbing in central Auckland overnight.

Police say the incident occurred on Customs Street East, in the Auckland CBD, around 3.20am on Saturday.

The person has since been transported to the hospital in a serious condition.

Inquiries are under way to establish the circumstances around the incident.
