Sports and politics set to mix at world table tennis champs

It's fair to say the United States is not exactly a hotbed of ping pong talent.

However, this week Americans and others will try to topple the powerhouse that is China at the world table tennis championships finals.

The event in Texas will also be an important geo-political milestone, with the two rival nations teaming up in the mixed doubles.

1News' self-proclaimed table tennis guru Chris Chang has the full breakdown of the tournament in the video above.
