Foreign Minister Nanaia Mahuta's wrapped up a flying US visit with a one-on-one with her American counterpart Antony Blinken.

The US Secretary of State's just returned from Africa, dealing with civil unrest, Covid resurgence and growing uncertainty over China.

1News' Anna Burns-Francis wraps up the meeting in the video above, where China's role in the Pacific and New Zealand's stance was highlighted.
