Northland school among new locations of interest

A Northland school and supermarket, as well as a Christchurch Warehouse store, are among the locations of interest listed by the Ministry of Health on Saturday evening.

As of 8pm on Saturday, there were 439 locations of interest across the country.

Some of the new exposure sites are:

  • Mangawhai Beach School Office - visited on October 21 between 1.51pm and 2pm.
  • Countdown Whangārei - visited on October 20 between 10.22am and 11.30am.
  • Kmart Whangārei - visited on October 20 between 9.20am and 9.55am, and October 24 between 12.08pm and 12.30pm.
  • Z Te Awamutu - visited on October 26 between 12pm and 1.15pm.
  • Queen St Dairy Te Kuiti - visited on October 28 between 11.45am and 12.30pm.
  • Aquasports Physiotherapy Onehunga - visited on October 26 between 4pm and 4.33pm.
  • Wendy's Hamburgers Papakura - visited on October 26 between 1pm and 2.19pm.
  • The Warehouse Barrington - visited on October 23 between 10.46am and 10.54am.
  • FreshChoice Barrington - visited on October 23 between 10.54am and 11.05am.
  • Anyone who visited one of these locations at the specified times should self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 14 days after exposure.

    If symptoms develop, the advice is to get a test and stay at home until a negative test result is returned and until 24 hours after symptoms resolve.

    There were 160 new Covid-19 cases recorded nationwide on Saturday, made up of 151 in Auckland, one in Northland, seven in Waikato and one in Christchurch.
