Writer shows off extensive collection of Kiwi LPs

For the past few years, award-winning writer Steve Braunias has become obsessed with the number of Kiwi albums pilling up in op-shops.

The result is a large collection and a brilliant idea for a book - Cover Story - 100 Beautiful, Strange and Frankly Incredible New Zealand LP Covers.

Seven Sharp travelled to Braunias’ house to check out his 800-odd collections of LPs.

From stars like Tina Cross, to people who performed at fairs and rest homes, Cover Story celebrates the full Kiwi spectrum of New Zealand's vinyl history.
